South Glens Falls had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.6 runs) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Schuylerville Horses as they made off with a 9-0 win. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

The result came thanks to Isabelle Ames's shutout, as she gave up just four hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Gianna Marissal was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylee Craft, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

South Glens Falls was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .471. The last time their batting average was this high was back in May of 2024.

South Glens Falls pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Schuylerville, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8-1.

The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bulldogs 2.3, the Tartans 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Schuylerville will face off against rival Hudson Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
