Soccer Recap: Northwest Comes Up Short

If Northwest was feeling good fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Charlevoix on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mounties took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Reeths-Puffer Rockets on Saturday.

Northwest now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Reeths-Puffer, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Northwest has the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Marquette at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Reeths-Puffer, they will venture away from home to square off against Gaylord at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
