It's playoff time, and Sterling had no trouble coming through when it counted. They claimed a resounding 86-53 win over the Stanton County Trojans. The Black Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Stanton County had strong showings from David Crane, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards, and Gerardo Robles, who went 7-for-16 on his way to 23 points. Robles' big performance that afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. Corey Wilson was another key player, putting up six points.

The victory (which was Sterling's 11th in a row) raised their record to 20-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.2 points. As for Stanton County, their loss dropped their record down to 15-8.

As of now, neither Sterling nor Stanton County have any future games scheduled.
