Basketball Recap: Carrollton Comes Up Short

Carrollton suffered their biggest defeat since January 5, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against the South Shelby Cardinals, falling 53-32. The contest marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Callie Mcwilliams was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 19 points and nine boards for South Shelby. The game was Mcwilliams' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Belle Roush, who went 7 of 13 en route to 16 points and eight rebounds.
