Softball Recap: Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels vs. Juniata Valley Hornets
Moshannon Valley hadn't done well against Juniata Valley recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Black Knights/Damsels narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Hornets 6-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Black Knights/Damsels.
Annabeth Anderson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
