Volleyball Game Preview: Prosser Falcons vs. Foreman Hornets

The Prosser Falcons will challenge the Foreman Hornets at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Prosser will be strutting in after a victory while Foreman will be coming in after a loss.

Prosser will bounce into Wednesday's game after beating Lake View, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. The Falcons came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wildcats on Tuesday, sneaking past 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Falcons have posted since April 21st.

Prosser had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 26-24, 25-19.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Foreman's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to Lycee Francais de Chicago. Considering the last time the Hornets couldn't score was back in April, the team can't take the result too hard.

While Foreman had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20.

Foreman's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Prosser, their victory bumped their record up to 8-14.

Prosser beat Foreman 2-0 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hornets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
