Volleyball Recap: Osborne Triumphs

It was a proper cat-fight when Osborne challenged Langston Hughes on Tuesday. The Cardinals had just enough and edged out the Panthers 2-1.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Osborne who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 29-27, 15-25, 15-13.

Osborne's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Langston Hughes, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Osborne has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Lithia Springs on the 12th. As for Langston Hughes, they will head out to take on New Manchester at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
