St. Vincent de Paul Academy had won four straight home games dating back to last season and Leo Hodal did his part to make it five on Tuesday. The Hawks came out on top against the DeLaSalle Charter Lions by a score of 44-37 thanks in part to Hodal, who shot 41% from the field en route to 22 points in addition to six boards and four steals. He has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played.

St. Vincent de Paul Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, St. Vincent de Paul Academy will square off against Academie Lafayette at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for DeLaSalle Charter, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Saint Thomas Aquinas at 6:00 p.m. on January 27, 2026.
