Soccer Recap: McLean Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Langley on Monday, McLean came back down to earth. The Highlanders fell just short of the Wakefield Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but McLean couldn't quite close it out.

McLean's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Wakefield, their win bumped their record up to 6-8-1.

McLean does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wakefield, they will be taking part in a tournament against Herndon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Herndon will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Wakefield surely won't give up without a fight.
