Mandan scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Dickinson/Hope Christian, 12-7. At the time, the Midgets were ranked 19th in the state, while the Braves were 29th.
Bismarck extended the longest winning streak in AAA West this week by beating Williston, 42-0. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Demons.
Mandan made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,186 from 9,180. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 12-7 victory over Dickinson/Hope Christian last week.
