Troy came tearing into Wednesday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Sunny Hills Lancers as they made off with a 9-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Troy pushed their record up to 16-5 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Sunny Hills, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-18.

Troy will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lancers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
