After flying high against Chicago Washington last Thursday, Julian came back down to earth. The game between the Julian Jaguars and the Butler Lynx didn't end well, with the Julian Jaguars falling 66-52. The Jaguars' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Julius Hamlin Jr was his usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 26 points, ten rebounds, and ten steals for Butler. Hamlin Jr's afternoon made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Danny Bennett was another key player, going 6 for 9 on his way to 15 points along with eight boards and five steals.

Julian's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Butler, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-8.

Julian will take on Woodlawn at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Woodlawn's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches. As for Butler, they will square off against Hansberry at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Butler is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.5 points per game this season.
