Volleyball Recap: Millikan Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Millikan can now relate to. They fell just short of the Norwalk Lancers by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday.

Millikan started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 18-25, 25-17, 25-18, 15-9.

Millikan's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Norwalk, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 24-11 record this season.

Millikan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Norwalk, they will take on El Toro at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
