After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ontario Christian, Linfield Christian was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Woodcrest Christian Royals as they made off with a 3-0 win. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

While Linfield Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-13, 25-23.

Despite the loss, Woodcrest Christian still got an impressive performance from Brooklyn Russell, who had 19 digs. Russell has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Linfield Christian is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Woodcrest Christian, their loss ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 14-14.

Woodcrest Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Ontario Christian on the 2nd.
