Basketball Recap: Christian Educational Consortium Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Christian Educational Consortium had won three straight games and Deven Moore did his part to make it four on Saturday. The Christian Educational Consortium Cougars blew past the Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool Trailblazers 50-30 thanks in part to Moore, who went 6-for-14 on his way to 18 points. The contest was his sixth in a row with at least 18 points.

Brady Gocke was another key player, putting up four points along with ten boards and three blocks. He has been hot, having posted two or more blocks the last five times he's played.

Several Trailblazers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Paul Bradley, who posted nine points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Bradley a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Joseph Bradley, who had 12 points and five rebounds.

Christian Educational Consortium's victory bumped their record up to 16-11. As for Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-18.

Looking ahead, Christian Educational Consortium will face off against Community Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Community Christian Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
