Softball Recap: Berwick Takes a Loss

Berwick fell victim to North Schuylkill and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 10-0. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Berwick's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for North Schuylkill, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berwick will square off against Greater Nanticoke Area at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Schuylkill, they will take on Pine Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Spartans 2.8, the Cardinals 1.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
