Volleyball Game Preview: Wakeland Wolverines vs. Lovejoy Leopards + How To Watch

The Wakeland Wolverines are taking a road trip to square off against the Lovejoy Leopards at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wakeland will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Wakeland is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Memorial.

Stella Sanford and Aubree Fernandez were among the main playmakers for Wakeland as the former had 14 assists and three digs and the latter had 20 digs and eight assists. That's the most assists Fernandez has posted since back in October.

Meanwhile, Lovejoy made easy work of Hallsville on Saturday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Wakeland's record now sits at 26-7. As for Lovejoy, their record is now 30-13.

Wakeland couldn't quite get it done against Lovejoy when the teams last played back in August as they fell 3-1. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Leopards' Avery Gray, who had 23 digs and two aces.
