Softball Recap: Loretto Comes Up Short

The Loretto Mustangs didn't have quite enough to beat the Hardin County Tigers on Friday and fell 4-3. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Loretto's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Hardin County, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Loretto will welcome Summertown at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Summertown's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so Loretto's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Hardin County, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-3 defeat against Mount Juliet on the 30th.
