Soccer Game Preview: Forks vs. Winlock + How To Watch

Forks is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Wednesday. They will head out on the road to square off against the Winlock Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Forks will bounce into Wednesday's matchup after beating Chimacum, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Spartans blew past the Cowboys 7-0 on Monday.

Meanwhile, Winlock was able to grind out a solid victory over Muckleshoot Tribal on Monday, taking the game 10-8. Winlock haven't had any issues with Muckleshoot Tribal recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The victory got Winlock back to even at 1-1. As for Forks, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Forks came up short against Winlock in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 6-4. Can the Spartans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
