Football Recap: Stratford Academy Skates Past Pinewood Christian with Ease + How To Watch

A well-balanced attack led Stratford Academy over Pinewood Christian in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Eagles blew the Patriots out of the water with a 40-5 final score. The Eagles pushed the score to 33-3 by the end of the third, a deficit the Patriots had little chance of recovering from.

Tyler Stephens had a dynamite game, rushing for 146 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry. Those four rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tucker Johnston, who rushed for 38 yards and one TD.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Stratford Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 240 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pinewood Christian only rushed for 57 rushing yards.
