Softball Recap: Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] Comes Up Short

Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] lost against Beulah back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cougars came up short against the Miners, falling 19-3. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gracelyn Vaagene, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run. That hit was Vaagene's first of the season.

Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky]'s loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Beulah, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.
