Soccer Recap: Cape Henry Collegiate Takes a Loss

Cape Henry Collegiate lost against Norfolk Academy back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Dolphins lost 6-0 to the Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, Cape Henry Collegiate can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 86th, while Norfolk Academy are ranked fifth).

Cape Henry Collegiate's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-5-2. As for Norfolk Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1-1.

Coincidentally, Cape Henry Collegiate and Norfolk Academy will both be playing Catholic the next time they take the pitch. The Bulldogs will host the Crusaders at 5:15 p.m. on Monday, while the Dolphins will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
