South Burlington had taken Essex down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. Wolves fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 3-2. South Burlington have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Momin Waqar and Conor Maxwell scored both of South Burlington's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.
