Volleyball Recap: Eagleton College & Career Academy Victorious + How To Watch

After losing to Oakdale the last time they met, Eagleton College & Career Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Royals won by a set and slipped past the Eagles 3-2.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Eagleton College & Career Academy got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-19, 19-25, 25-12, 22-25, 15-6.

Maddison Green was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had ten digs and six aces. Those six aces gave her a new career-high.

Green wasn't the only good servers: Eagleton College & Career Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 14 consecutive matchups.

Eagleton College & Career Academy's record is now 13-14. As for Oakdale, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-6.

Looking ahead, Eagleton College & Career Academy will square off against Hancock County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Oakdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
