While Hamilton's win against Walnut wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hamilton Lions had just enough and edged out the Walnut Wildcats 6-5 on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Lions, who have now won three contests in a row.

Hamilton's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Walnut, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Hamilton Lions face off against Nettleton Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Walnut, they will be playing at home against Hickory Flat at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Walnut is facing Hickory Flat at the right time seeing as Hickory Flat is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
