Football Recap: Rockingham County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to 32 points the game before, Rockingham County was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They were dealt a 39-0 defeat at the hands of the Magna Vista Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 228th in North Carolina, while the Warriors are ranked 93rd in Virginia).

Rockingham County's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Rockingham County will venture away from home to square off against Western Alamance at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th. As for Magna Vista, they will host Martinsville at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th. This will be the Warriors' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
