Volleyball Recap: Krum Takes a Loss

Krum was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Caddo Mills Foxes. The Bobcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Foxes earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Marlie Morris paced Krum's offense, picking up 16 kills. Morris got some help from Molly Ward and her 33 assists. Finally, Lyla Elkington kept Krum's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Krum's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Caddo Mills, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.

Looking ahead, Caddo Mills will be playing at home against Greenville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Krum will be paying especially close attention to the Foxes' match: after the Foxes face off against Lindale, they'll take on Krum again at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
