Lawrence Free State was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Shawnee Mission West Vikings.

Lawrence Free State now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Shawnee Mission West, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2-1.
