Softball Recap: Russellville's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Russellville took a 14-run loss the last time they faced off against Christian County, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Colonels 5-4 on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Russellville's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-9. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Christian County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season.

Russellville will take on Logan County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Christian County, they will be playing at home against Webster County at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
