Cave Spring lost against Patrick Henry back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots. The Knights' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Cave Spring started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-23, 25-13, 25-7.

Cave Spring's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Patrick Henry, with the victory, they broke their five-match losing streak and moved their record to 10-8.
