Volleyball Game Preview: Plainfield Cardinals vs. Roselle Catholic Lions

The Plainfield Cardinals are taking a road trip to challenge the Roselle Catholic Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Wednesday, Plainfield came up short against Union and fell 2-0.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Roselle Catholic took on Plainfield back in April. The Lions fell 2-0 to the Cardinals. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-5.

Plainfield's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Roselle Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Plainfield was able to grind out a solid win over Roselle Catholic in their previous meeting back in April, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
