Basketball Game Preview: Millersburg Indians vs. Line Mountain Eagles

The Millersburg Indians are taking a road trip to take on the Line Mountain Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Millersburg is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.3 points per game this season.

Millersburg will bounce into Monday's contest after beating Greenwood, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Millersburg snuck past Greenwood with a 47-43 victory on Thursday. That's two games straight that the Indians have won by exactly four points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Millersburg to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lyniel Johnson, who went 6 of 13 en route to 15 points and seven rebounds. Johnson has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Carter Sass, who posted nine points and five assists.

Meanwhile, Line Mountain slipped by Milton 48-47 on Saturday.

The win was the third in a row for Millersburg, bringing their record for this year to 4-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Line Mountain, their record now sits at 2-3.

Millersburg came up short against Line Mountain in their previous matchup back in January, falling 46-38. Can Millersburg avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
