Softball Recap: Fort Wayne South Side Archers vs. Fort Wayne Wayne Generals

Fort Wayne South Side had lost eight straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 0-3 to make it nine. They came up short against the Fort Wayne Wayne Generals, falling 20-6. The Archers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Generals from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Jamara Fincher was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Fort Wayne Wayne's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
