Soccer Recap: Moffat County Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Moffat County was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They came up short against the Vail Christian Saints, falling 9-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Moffat County of the 7-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Moffat County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Vail Christian, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Coming up, Moffat County will face off against Grand Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Vail Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Non Varsity Opponent on the 25th.
