 San Juan had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 runs), and they went ahead and made it nine on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs  a   4-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as San Juan also won the last time the pair played  on Tuesday.

 On Gunnison Valley's side, they got a good showing from  Landry Edwards, who   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits (he also didn't allow any  walks).
 San Juan's win was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 10-4. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.0 runs per game. As for Gunnison Valley, they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-12.
 San Juan will be playing at home against Kirtland Central at 2:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Gunnison Valley, they will head out on the road to  square off against  North Summit at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
