Volleyball Game Preview: Prairie Central Hawks vs. Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts + How To Watch

Prairie Central hasn't had much luck against Illinois Valley Central recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Hawks will take on the Grey Ghosts at 6:00 p.m. Prairie Central will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Prairie Central will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating St. Joseph-Ogden, who they had gone 1-7 against in their eight prior meetings. The Hawks walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Spartans on Thursday.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-23.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Illinois Valley Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against Princeton by a score of 2-0 on Monday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Illinois Valley Central took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15.

Prairie Central's record is now 14-9. As for Illinois Valley Central, their record now sits at 17-5.
