Soccer Recap: Ballston Spa Takes a Loss

Ballston Spa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Averill Park Golden Knights. Surprisingly, this marked Ballston Spa's fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Ballston Spa's loss dropped their record down to 3-11-1. As for Averill Park, their victory ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 3-9-3.

Ballston Spa does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Averill Park, they will welcome Niskayuna at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
