Football Recap: Creekview Piles Up the Points Against Riverwood + How To Watch

Creekview won the last time they faced Riverwood and things went their way on Friday too. The Grizzlies claimed a resounding 35-7 win over the Raiders. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Grizzlies' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 118th, while the Raiders are ranked 277th).

Alex Penrod was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 128 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 83 yards and one score. Those three passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Creekview didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Benjamin Theroux and Landon Parker.

The victory made it two in a row for Creekview and bumps their season record up to 2-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.5 points over those games. As for Riverwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
