Basketball Recap: Forrest Takes a Loss

Forrest lost against Community back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Forrest Rockets took a hard 56-41 fall against the Community Vikings/Viqueens. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Community found their leader in sophomore Alyssa White, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Yoes, who posted 11 points.

Forrest's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Community, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 9-12.

Forrest will challenge Battle Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Community, they will square off against Huntland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
