Basketball Recap: Roby Takes a Loss

Roby was the 64-51 winner over Hermleigh when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Roby Lions took a 58-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hermleigh Cardinals on Friday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Roby's defeat dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Hermleigh, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 23-10 record this season.

Coming up, Roby will take on Trent at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hermleigh, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Cardinals face off against the Wildcats at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
