Softball Recap: Fremont Beats Firebaugh for Their Third Straight Win

Fremont entered their tilt with Firebaugh on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 10-6. This was a revenge game for the Pathfinders: when they faced off against the Falcons two weeks ago, they had to take a 30-17 loss.

Fremont's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Firebaugh, they dropped their record down to 4-7 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Fremont will take on King/Drew at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Firebaugh, they will challenge Bellflower at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Bellflower has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.33 runs per game on average), something Firebaugh will no doubt try to take advantage of.
