North Eugene was forced to take a big defeat against they on Friday, they got the better of them on Friday. They came out on top against the Eagle Point Eagles by a score of 6-1. This was a revenge game for the Highlanders: when they faced off against the Eagles on Friday, they had to take a 6-0 loss.

Anabel Acosta spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Cameron Pierce was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April.

North Eugene's victory bumped their record up to 15-13. As for Eagle Point, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-11.

As of now, neither North Eugene nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
