Baseball Recap: Centaurus Takes a Loss

Centaurus was the 10-6 winner over Horizon when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday.

Liam Sweeney was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Dylan Glenn was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Centaurus' defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Horizon, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-8.
