Basketball Recap: Big Spring Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Big Spring and Valley View squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Big Spring had to settle for second. They lost 64-42 to the Valley View Cougars. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Big Spring's defeat dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Valley View, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

Big Spring does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Valley View, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Valley View Cougars challenge Saucon Valley Panthers on Tuesday. Saucon Valley has insisted on making their last four contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 3-1 during that stretch of close contests.
