Football Recap: Copperas Cove Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Copperas Cove and DeSoto squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Copperas Cove had to settle for second. They took a blow against the Eagles, falling 63-6. The Bulldawgs just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

A big part of DeSoto's win came down to the chemistry between Legend Howell and his top target Ethan Feaster. Howell threw for 204 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 90% of his passes while Feaster gained 112 total yards. What's more, Howell racked up 168.8 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September.

Copperas Cove's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for DeSoto, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Copperas Cove nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
