Basketball Recap: Oakman Takes a Loss

If Oakman was feeling good fresh off their 45-25 takedown of Meek on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Oakman Wildcats took a 68-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Haleyville Lions on Wednesday.

Oakman has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season. As for Haleyville, their win bumped their record up to 14-11.

While Oakman had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
