Soccer Recap: Cedar Cliff Comes Up Short

Cedar Cliff lost against Cumberland Valley back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Colts came up short against the Eagles, falling 8-1. While losing is never fun, Cedar Cliff can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 197th, while Cumberland Valley are ranked seventh).

Cedar Cliff's loss dropped their record down to 4-6-1. As for Cumberland Valley, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Cedar Cliff has already played their next match, a 9-1 defeat against Mechanicsburg on the 18th. As for Cumberland Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against Chambersburg on the 18th.
