Volleyball Recap: Delaware Military Academy Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Brandywine

Delaware Military Academy faced Brandywine in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Seahawks fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2. The Seahawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Delaware Military Academy actually scored more points across those five sets (107-99), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-21, 25-22, 15-25, 16-14.

Delaware Military Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Brandywine, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Delaware Military Academy has already played their next match (against Newark Charter School), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Brandywine, they will square off against Odyssey Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
