Baseball Recap: Eagle Academy Comes Up Short

Eagle Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Morrisania Lions, falling 18-2. On the bright side, the two- run performance marked the Eagles' highest-scoring contest to date.

Eagle Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Morrisania, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Eagle Academy will be playing at home against Law Government & Justice at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Morrisania, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on South Bronx Prep at 4:00 p.m. on May 8.
