Forge Christian entered their tilt with St. Mary's Academy on Monday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wildcats. This was payback for the Fury, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Forge Christian never let St. Mary's Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-8, 25-23.

Addison Davis paced Forge Christian's offense, picking up ten kills. Davis got some help from Abby Nance and her 23 assists. Grayson Taylor controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Forge Christian's record is now 17-3. As for St. Mary's Academy, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Forge Christian will take on rival Eagle Ridge Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, St. Mary's Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Stargate School at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
